Before You Reserve
How far in advance should I reserve?
Booking early gives you the most flexibility. OER considers orders placed more than five business days before the selected start date to be well in advance for standard UPS Ground shipping. If your start date is close, contact us to discuss faster shipping options.
When will my rental arrive?
Your selected start date is the date you want the equipment to arrive. OER ships based on UPS transit estimates so the rental is scheduled to arrive on that date or possibly earlier. For important trips or events, consider choosing a start date with extra time for possible carrier or weather delays.
Can OER help me decide which device I need?
Yes. Start with one of the activity guides above, or contact OER if you’re unsure which type of equipment makes sense for your trip, event or use case.
How does return shipping work?
Your rental package includes a prepaid UPS return label. Repack the equipment and ship it through UPS on your selected end date.
What do my rental start and end dates mean?
The start date is the day you want the equipment to arrive at your shipping location. The end date is the day you return-ship the rental to OER via UPS.
What if my trip is coming up soon?
Contact OER before ordering if your start date is close. Faster shipping may be available, but carrier and weather delays can still occur, so allowing extra time is recommended.
